Is any content behind a paywall?
Most content stays free. A small number of high-value, deeply researched pieces are subscriber-only, marked clearly, with a free preview available to everyone. Subscribers also get 1 PEG Papers issue pick a month, from our whole archive, plus 2 One on One interview picks a month.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Monthly and annual plans simply expire at the end of the period if not renewed, no cancellation fees.
How is my region determined?
We detect your general location automatically to show fair, region-appropriate pricing. You’re always welcome to choose a different plan if you prefer.
What’s the Founding Rate code?
It’s a one-time discount for the first 50 people to subscribe from Nigeria: ₦1,500 covers your first 3 months on Monthly Digital instead of ₦3,000. After 3 months, you subscribe again at the normal ₦3,000/month rate.
Is Print + Digital available outside Nigeria?
Not yet — international shipping for PEG Papers isn’t set up. Everyone everywhere gets full digital access through Monthly or Yearly Digital.
What’s the difference between Monthly Digital and One on One Only?
Monthly Digital includes both a free PEG Papers issue pick and 2 One on One interview picks every month. One on One Only (₦2,000/month, Nigeria only) includes just the 2 One on One picks — it does not include PEG Papers issues. It’s for readers who mainly want the interviews without the full magazine.
If I subscribe, can I download every issue I read?
No. A subscription gives you full reading access to your monthly picks, but downloading a copy to keep requires paying a separate, small download fee in addition to your subscription. This keeps subscriptions affordable while still protecting the work that goes into each issue.
Is the Founding Rate available outside Nigeria?
No — the Founding Rate is only available to the first 50 subscribers in Nigeria, on the Monthly Digital plan.
What if I just want to read one PEG Papers issue, not subscribe?
You can buy a single issue for online reading, no subscription or account required — look for “Buy This Issue” on the PEG Papers page. Downloading a copy still requires a subscription plus the download fee.
